CHENEZ: WHO IS FARNHAM AND WHERE HAS HE BEEN HIDING?

CHENEZ LOOKS FOR OPPONENT…FINDS GHOST!

As Democratic county legislature nominee Roger Chenez continues to go door to door around the clock in the 7th District, he asks the same question and gets the same answer from just about every voter he encounters.

“The first thing I ask people at the door is: Do you know who your Niagara County Legislator is?…And, guess what….No one knows,” Chenez reports. “They don’t know who their county legislator is because Gerald Farnham isn’t doing anything to promote economic development in this district. He isn’t doing anything to cut spending so that we can cut taxes for our home owners. You never see him out in the district. I feel like I’m running against a ghost!”

Meanwhile, Chenez is reminding voters that there’s a reason his opponent isn’t concerned about the problems of the average voter in the 7th.

“My opponent, Gerald Farnham, is living in a home on Hinman Rd. rent free and tax free thanks to the generosity of a company that does a lot of business with Niagara County,” Chenez charges. “The rest of us don’t have the privilege of living tax free and rent free and Mr. Farnham shouldn’t either.”

At the same time, Chenez is pledging to pursue a positive agenda next January if elected on Nov. 3.

“I would like to see a county-wide strategy put in place to deal with economic development,” he proposes. “I would like to see a thorough analysis done of all of our spending in Niagara County to try to find out where we can cut spending and save taxpayer money…Above all, I promise the voters of the 7th District that I will not be a ghost if elected to be our next legislator, that I will spend all of my time being visible and accessible throughout the district, working very hard to serve the needs of our residents.”
